This hotel is absolutely incredible! The historical building and beautifully landscaped gardens are jaw-dropping. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a GREAT stay. The upgraded rooms are spacious and clean, with international plugs available. The variety and quality of the restaurants and drinks options are mind-blowing. Breakfast is a buffet feast with so many choices. Don't miss out on the amazing high tea experience. The pool, gym, and snooker room are fantastic additions. this hotel offers a truly unforgettable experience.

Location and nice garden in front !!!

I can simply said: You will not get what you see and what you paid for !!! The room is not what you see on the Booked.net. Old rooms, not clean and the service is very bad. The staff is not helpful at all. I have a bad experience at the hotel starting from the check in which take too long, then to the extra bed which I request which take more than 4 hours to get after 3 calls to reception and then the duty manager at the end. Finally, the room was not what I book and see at Booked.net and when I request for a change I got a Reply “ go and complain to Booked.net by the Hotel Front office Supervisor (Vinoth). What I like it more that the rooms was with no refrigerators and when I ask they said you have to request it … >>>Please consider this as an official complain from my side..

Nothing , bad hotel

This is my comments regarding Grand Hotel: Once I arrived from travel, they delayed me for two hours since they did not have rooms as per my requirements booking through e-booking site and they gave me rooms as per the available not my request ( they are looking for money, customer last). Even I did not found my name at the customers while I reserved rooms since one month ago. No internet at rooms and no refrigerator. Old tv and they do not have any Arabic Chanel while most of their customers Arabs!!!!!!!! If request anything first pay, they are not trust customers !!!!!, Finally, it is bad hotel from my opinion.

This venue is conveniently situated in a central location near restaurants, the city center, and nature.

Located not too far from the city, this hotel offers a great retreat after a long day of traveling. The cool and rainy weather only added to the charm of the surroundings 🌧️. It's also nice that there's a restaurant right nearby for convenience.

The units are well-appointed on upper level. The location is excellent, 1 km from Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. It is found in a peaceful area.

The breakfast was delicious with mind-blowing selections to choose from and all the food was outstanding. The hotel was in a good location not far from Nuwara Eliya 15 minutes before the start of the recent curfew in Sri Lanka, the resturants and the seafood restaurant.

The restaurant at The Grand Hotel - Heritage Grand in Nuwara Eliya offers yummy food to enjoy.2.3. The location is stunning, with bars and golf courses nearby.4. It's convenient as you can walk to the main market and a market from the hotel.

Had relaxing stay during the last weekend. The location of the hotel was central, just off the restaurant for lunch as well as the city Centre. Moreover, it was at a walking distance from Gregory Lake.

Substantial and varied breakfasts, and wonderfully helpful staff.

The room was top-class and a nice size. The location was exceptionally nice, really close to the attached Indian restaurant.- The restaurant had excellent food.- The hotel is near the amazing Tea Plantations of Ceylon.

Highly recommended! Would definitely book here again. The staff was really friendly and accommodating.- The restaurant served delicious food with a variety of cuisines.- Loved having a lounge area and ample closet space in the room.
